“Hunterdon Hoops tournaments are one of the most organized tournaments that our club attends. The facilities are excellent, patched officials and great competition keep us coming back!”

“It has truly been a great experience for our daughter to be involved with United Basketball. She has made many new friends, worked with wonderful coaches along the way, and improved her game to a new level. She enjoys playing with girls from many different communities and traveling to new cities and towns. We are all very proud to be a part of the Hunterdon United Family.”

(United Basketball Parents)
“My daughter never played a sport and started with Hunterdon Hoops clinics and individual training and was on a United AAU developmental team. She has made great strides in her fundamental skills and with the help from the United AAU program and Hunterdon Hoops, she returned to her school team, able to play with all levels !!! “

Playing Time
Every player will play in every game. Playing time will be relatively equal. Practice It is important for player to attend as many practices as possible. Hunterdon Hoops Basketball believes that player development occurs in practice. Commitment Hunterdon Hoops Basketball will work with athletes who play another sport to help maximize participation in both. Parent Behavior Hunterdon Hoops believes that our highly qualified coaches create the great experience for your son/daughter. We therefore asks parents to abide by a series of beliefs listed below. 1. Let the coach do the coaching. Parents are not to coach from the sidelines during the game. Tryout Fee
The tryout fee that is not returned is used to help defray tryout costs (facility rental fees). It would be unfair for just those families who make a team to pay for all those that tryout. Some families 'shop' at various programs to determine which is best for their child and have a responsibility to share in those costs. The financial commitment tends to make the tryout more important. |
