United White Goes 'International' at Blue Chip Tournament
The United White 16U Team, coached by Jimmy Ostaszewski, squared off against the International Basketball Club from Spain at the USA Blue Chip Invitational held at Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania on July 6th. The United White team came away with the win, 78-39. The girls from Spain kept the game close early, but fell behind when one of their top players went down with an ankle sprain. The IBC showed some international flair during foul shots when they would try to huddle next to their bench (which is allowed in international contests) before the officials moved them back into the box. Both teams were eager to take a team picture after the contest  to remind them of this unique contest at this annual tournament.
