Spring / Summer 2011 Accomplishments

High School Boys

  • Coach Pinkman's U15 Team - Qualified for Nationals, Hoop Splash/Hunterdon Hoops/Rhode Island Invitational Champions)
  • Point Guard recognized as the Top Player at Keystone Invitational

High School GIRLS

  • Coach Kuchova's U16 Team - Finished in the Top 4 at Boo Williams (April) & Gym Ratz (June), Won their Pool in Chicago (July) and beat Nationally Ranked Teams at Penn State & Jr. Nationals (July). 9)
  • Multiple players from our U14, U15 & U16 Teams made All Tournament Lists
  • Three Junior Players received Full College Scholarships (DI & DII)
  • 12 Players earned All-State Recognition for the 2010-2011 High School Winter Season
Exciting NEWS: United Boys AAU for Younger Players
United AAU has added three new boys teams for the 2012 season: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade. Darrien Pinkman, the new director for the boys program, has spent a lot of time in the off-season choosing his new staff and laying out a model program for success. If you have any questions about the boys’ program, please email pinkman@hunterdonhoops.com.

Batella, Fleck lead Lacey over Pinelands
Taylor Batella scored a game-high 15 points and Jenna Fleck added 10 points to lead the Lacey girls basketball team to 45-41 victory over Pinelands in a Class B South game on Monday.

Lacey (6-2, 4-0) won despite making just 15 of 37 free throws as three Pinelands players fouled out. The Lions held leads of 21-17 at halftime and 34-24 through three quarters before holding off the Wildcats in the fourth quarter.

Jenna Dowd scored a team-high 10 points for Pinelands (5-4, 2-2).
